Flowers simple, purplish pink with striking yellow stamens, 8 cm in diameter. After flowering, it produces interesting fruits with shiny black seeds. Very decorative, finely dissected leaves, grows to a height of about 80 cm. Very hardy peony for sunny to semi-shady locations and neutral to calcareous soils, suitable for natural gardens. I am sending three-year-old plants planted in a 2 l container.
ATHENA (Saunders 1949)
Flowers single, large, ivory-white to apricot-yellow with prominently present lavender flares at the base of the flower petals, contrasting golden-yellow stamens in the centre. It is a quadruple hybrid created from P. lactiflora x {(P. macrophylla x P. mlokosewitschii) x P. officinalis} breeding. Light fragrance. Early blooming, floriferous and vigorous with strong stems. ELIZA LUNDY (Krekkler 1975)
Double bomb-style flowers, vibrant, true red color. This charming little peony is a cross between Paeonia peregrina and P. officinalis. Flowers slightly fragrant. Strong stems and compact foliage make this a perfect choice for the small garden. Growing just 60 cm tall, it forms a dense bush.
FLORENTINA
Flowers of a very faintly bluish shade rather than pure white with some greenish-yellow veining on the haft and a deep yellow beard. Wild species, coming from Italy and Southern Europe. Flowers very pleasantly fragrant!

tenuifolia
Finely cut leaves, single bright red petals and golden yellow center. Height 30-40 cm. Need very sunny position and well drained soil, excellent for rock gardens. Natural wild species, very rare. I offer 3 years old plants potted in 2 liter container.
XANTHOSPURIA
Flowers deep yellow to golden yellow. Wild plant coming from Turkey. Only other two wild species of the Spuria group of irises have yellow flowers - I. spuria subsp. halophila and I. crocea. Plant height 80-100 cm, frost resistant in Czech Republic.
